When "Ol'Dogs, Nu Yard" came out in 2010 it struck me like lightning. What my longtime friend "Sir" Oliver Mally delivered with this album was just breathtaking. An intimate yet intense outing as an impressive singer / songwriter. Songs like "Butterfly Girl", "Love Is A Devil" or "Ain't No Bad Boy (But I've Got The Bad Boys Blues)" are since then signature tunes of the genre. The only thing that bothered me was that "Ol'Dogs, Nu Yard" wasn't released on vinyl.
