Superføkk is a bursting new raptus project that shoots off in inexplicable directions. With a foot in many camps, they aim to break down established genre conventions and create a sound that is distinctly their own. Drawing inspiration from jazz / noiserock, electronica, and no-wave, you can expect music packed with eclectic expression.
Since being founded in a small, dark studio at Bergen Kjøtt in the fall of 2024, they have already built a solid repertoire, played numerous concerts at Bergens biggest stages, won first place at the Eggstock Festival 2025, and recorded their debut album in Duper Studio, to be released on Fysisk Format.
Superføkk is neither background listening nor pop music — it is immediate and danceable, but also unhinged, hard-boiled, improvised, and idiosyncratic. The lineup consists of drums (Victor Skullerud), electric bass (Eik Stavem), electric guitar / synth (Ole-Hellik Lobben-Seth), and tenor and baritone saxophone, electronics, percussion (August Ramstad).
